Remembering 2011...

1. What did you do in 2011 that you’d never done before?

being involved as an active participant of my son's birth process.
Yes, I'm the one who was crawling and screaming from the birth table, trying hard not to damage my eyes' pupils during the process because my doctor said that I am in a big risk of being blind during the birth process. 

Whether he's telling the truth or just want to get more money through the Caesar procedure, I never know.
My midwife, my mom, cousin in-law, and my husband have done great job helping me get through the entire process smoothly.


2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I'm not really good in making plan or target, I always let my life goes with the flow (a philosophy that a friend of mine hates so much(. But last year on the New Year's Eve with my close friends, I said that I want to have a baby before turning 25. I accomplished that, and this fact makes me a little bit more optimistic about making another resolution this year: LOSING A LOT OF WEIGHT. hehehehe

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

My self just like I have mentioned before, but two of my bestfriends are on their way to become a mother too and I'm so excited for them :)

4. Did anyone close to you die?

Nope, and I REALLY hope neither this year.

5. What countries did you visit?
only the one I live in

6. What would you like to have in 2012 that you lacked in 2011?
more travel time, more exercise, more friends.

7. What dates from 2011 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
July 30, 2011 my son's birth.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Being a mother, having my own business, being more organized, and making more crafts.

9. What was your biggest failure?
~ Losing contact with a good friend.
~ Failed to participate more in the wedding organizer business that I and my two best friends have created.

10. What was the best thing you bought?
A vacuum cleaner.

11. Whose behavior merited celebration?
my husband for being such a strong person during every moment of our son's birth.

 
12. Whose behavior made you appalled and disgusted?
We all have the bad and good moments. I choose not to remember the bad things when there are a lot more good things possessed by people around me.

13. What song will always remind you of 2011?

14. What do you wish you’d done more of?
spent time with family and friends.

15. What do you wish you’d done less of?
Fooling around and eating junk foods.

16. Did you fall in love in 2011?
I'm still in love after almost 4 years, and hopefully my husband and I will stay this way.

17. What was your favorite new TV program?
I rarely watch TV, but during some period of time last year, I watched a funny sinetron called "Nyari Bini". Unfortunately (or thankfully?) it was short-aired.

18. What was the best book you read?

Melahirkan Tanpa Rasa Sakit dengan Metode Hypnobirthing(Painless Birth with Hynobirthing Method)

my midwife said that I'm one of the calmest people she has ever met during the birthing process. Thanks to this book (and I thought I was loud. Ha!)

19. What one thing would have made your year measurably more satisfying?
Having all my best friends around to share the happiness and blessings we had this year.

20. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2011?
Feminine dresses, tunics and leggings all year :)

21. What kept you sane?
My husband and the internet as usual.

22. Who did you miss?
My ex-boss and ex-coworkers from my previous job. They're nice people.

23. Who was the best new person you met?
I met many great inspiring fellow bloggers through the internet, but if its about the person that I met in real life, it will be my precious son.

 
24. Tell us a valuable lesson you learned in 2011?
Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but pictures, kill nothing but time :)
